Film photography for me is always a journey rather than an answer. I like the amount of time film photos inherently carry, from being taken to being developed. Uncertainties. Mistakes. They're so physical: they can be touched and they all decay. During my pilgrimages to temples in Kyoto, I didn't remember to roll the film properly, yet the photo came out like a lake that reflected my feelings.
